One Liner Madness is a fast-paced bracket-style, single-elimination, one-liner joke contest. In this annual event, 64 comedians go head-to-head with their best jokes to determine the Best Joke Writer in the city.
Comedians advance based on audience applause, with tie-breaking judges, comedians Shaun Connolly and Bryan O'Donnell.
One Liner Madness tours the country and has been profiled in The New York Times, Time Out, and other publications. Its hosted by Emily Winter (The New Yorker, NPR's "Ask Me Another," The TODAY Show), and Boston's winner receives a prize of $100 cash!
